PROJECT 1: Joshua Homes
Provide permanent gender inclusive housing solutions, supportive services and programs for LGBT+ youth who are homeless, in foster or group homes, or in the foster care or juvenile justice systems.
Creating personalized holistic programs for each resident to foster self-awareness, academic development and achievement, independent living skills, sustainability, conflict resolution and more in a safe, stable, empowering and loving environment.
PROJECT 3: JH Backpacks
Youth will receive clean clothes, shoes, personal hygiene products, baby wipes, sleeping bags, nonperishable foods and water bottles in JH Backpacks, along with a current resources list of local organizations/agencies that serve unaccompanied homeless youth in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
Project 2: The CENTER @Joshua Home an LGBTQ Safe Haven
We provide unaccompanied youth of all ages with needed resources and services to keep them safe, healthy, and informed while on the streets.
The CENTER offers programs and services in a safe environment to each youth allowing for time off the streets that include counseling, tutoring, academic assessment and placement, independent living skills, sustainability and community/environmental responsibility, job training and referrals, and recreational activities.
As well as health screenings, peer support and much more.
